Complete nut-and-bolt, full frame-off build on a stunning 1967 Chevelle, completed with meticulous attention to detail and no expense spared. High-quality components were used throughout the build, and the same level of attention was given to the cosmetics, resulting in exceptional fit and finish from top to bottom.
Power comes from a massive ZZ 572/620HP GM Performance crate engine equipped with a billet aluminum serpentine belt system and custom-made headers feeding a 3″ exhaust system. It is paired with a TCI 400 transmission featuring a 3,800 stall and transmission cooler. An all-aluminum custom driveshaft sends power to a Moroso 12-bolt Posi rear end with 3.55 gears and disc brakes.
The chassis features CCP tubular upper and lower A-arms with adjustable coilovers up front, along with a CCP tubular 4-link rear suspension with air-bagged coil springs. Four-wheel disc brakes provide confident stopping power, while a stainless steel gas tank and complete new GM wiring harness further complement the build.
The laser-straight body features perfect seams and alignment and is finished in show-quality red paint. All-new chrome, stainless, glass, and weather stripping complete the exterior presentation.
Inside, the completely new black interior includes all-new chrome hardware, dash bezels, gauges, clock, and additional trim. Vintage Air Conditioning, a tilt steering column with Rally wheel, and an AM/FM/AUX stereo with power antenna provide additional comfort and convenience. Chrome Rally wheels wrapped in Mickey Thompson Sportsman tires, including 28×12.00 R15 tires in the rear, complete the aggressive stance.
The 572 big block delivers incredible torque and pulls exceptionally hard, yet this Chevelle is much more than straight-line performance. It drives remarkably well, feeling tight and solid while maintaining a smooth ride. With its combination of massive power, high-quality components, and meticulous craftsmanship, this is an exceptionally well-executed 1967 Chevelle.
